    Yeah, this month in Creative Every Day Challenge was the Art Every Day. So guess what? Yes, I was not able to do a piece of artwork every day. But! Have a Kabuki instead. (I dare you to guess which game I’ve been playing…)

    The bad news: I’m super busy studying right now. So, speed drawing? Yes, speed drawing. (I’ll scan it later…)

    The good news: my exams end in the next wednesday! \o/ So no more Calculus for me (er… for at least two months…). Hopefully, my entry in december will be more elaborate.

    Sim, nesse mês no Creative Every Day Challenge foi o Art Every Day. E adivinhe? Sim, eu não pude fazer arte todos os dias. Mas! Ao invés disso, fiquem com um Kabuki. (Eu desafio você a adivinhar que jogo tenho jogado…)

    As notícias ruins: eu estou super ocupada estudando agora. Então, desenho super corrido? Sim. (Eu vou escanear mais tarde.)

    As boas notícias: minhas provas terminam na próxima quarta! \o/ Então, sem mais Cálculo para mim (er… por pelo menos dois meses…). Espero que meu desenho para dezembro seja mais elaborado.

    I joined #inktober for the first time ever. Ink pens are my favorite medium, so a challenge about them is so wonderful to me.

    I actually remembered about it in the first weekend of october. Even so, my tight shedule only allowed me to post one piece each weekend. So, the first piece was made at the last minute… all of them were posted first at my instagram account.

    Here are my comments about each piece:

    Weekend 1 – Take a Leap of Faith: Such an obscure reference… from the show I love to hate: Once Upon a Time. This line was said by my absolutely favorite character from this damned show: August Wayne Booth. Because I have faith that he’ll be back this season (Fandom: I WAS HOPING). My artwork is a redemption of his mysterious box and his typewriter. Because, you know… August IS a writer. (good luck with your theories about who is the author… err, lets stop right here, because I’m sooo bitter with all of this.) Also, at the beginning of october I watched a friend of mine and my sister taking “leaps of faith” with their books. So, this one is dedicated to all writers out there. 🙂

    Weekend 2 – Tower of Strenght (Love is a tower, you’re the key): I got Spotify this month. I don’t know why I never tried it before. I discovered a lot of songs from artists I already love, but didn’t have the whole discography. “You are” by Pearl Jam was stuck in my head…. so this happened.

    Weekend 3 – Tiny: For a while I wanted to draw a tiny scene, in which houses in tree trunks and giant mushrooms were involved. It was kinda rushed, but I had a lot of fun while drawing it.

    Weekend 4 – Forest: I have a thing for fairyland woods. And I also realised that this whole set is about fairylands. A nice coincidence, hahaha!

    Extra – Flight: Flight was made for this month Creative Every Day, and I posted earlier this week. But it was made with ink too, and colored with color pencils. So it’s the 5th piece, as suggested in the challenge… I went with the 5k route. 🙂

    So proud to finish this challenge successfully!

    Participei do #inktober pela primeira vez esse ano. A caneta é o meu material favorito, então um desafio usando ela é maravilhoso para mim.

    Na verdade, eu lembrei dele no primeiro final de semana de outrubro. Mesmo assim, meu horário apertado só permitia postar um artwork a cada final de semana. O primeiro foi feito em cima da hora… todos foram postados primeiro na minha conta do instagram.

    Weekend 1 – Take a Leap of Faith: Uma referência tão obscura… da série que eu amo odiar: Once Upon a Time. Essa frase foi dita pelo meu personagem absolutamente favorito de toda essa maldita série: August Wayne Booth. Porque eu tenho fé que ele vai voltar nessa temporada (Fandom: I WAS HOPING). Meu artwork é um regate da sua caixa misteriosa e sua máquina de escrever. Porque, você sabe…. o August É um escritor (boa sorte com suas teorias sobre quem é o autor… err… vamos parar por aí, porque ainda ando muito amarga com tudo isso). E também vi um amigo meu e minha irmã darem “saltos de fé” com seus livros, então esse também é dedicado à todos os escritores por aí. 🙂

    Weekend 2 – Tower of Strenght (Love is a tower, you’re the key): Baixei o Spotify esse mês, e não sei por que não tinha feito isso antes. Descobri várias músicas de artistas que eu já adoro, mas não tinha a discografia completa. “You are” by Pearl Jam não saía da minha cabeça… então isso aconteceu.

    Weekend 3 – Tiny: Tem um tempinho que queria desenhar uma cena pequenininha, cm que casas em troncos de árvores e cogumelos gigantes estivessem envolvidos. Foi meio corrido, mas me diverti bastante desenhando esse.

    Weekend 4 – Forest: I tenho uma coisa por florestas de contos de fadas. E, também percebi que todos esses desenhos foram sobre contos de fadas. Uma coincidência legal, hahaha!

    Extra – Flight: Flight foi feita para o Creative Every Day desse mês, e postei no começo da semana. Mas ela foi feita com caneta também, e pintada com lápis de cor. Então, esse é o 5º desenho, como sugerido no desafio… fiz a rota dos cinco desenhos. 🙂

    Muito orgulhosa de ter terminado com sucesso esse desafio!

    Happy October!

    This month, I’m very proud to say that I made a lot of art! Yay!

    Yes, I joined , and even with my tight schedule, I managed to post one piece each weekend of october, at my instagram account. Later this week I’ll make a whole post dedicated to my Inktober shenanigans.

    So, my artwork for Creative Every Day Challenge this month. The theme is Flight! I sketched this one at the beginning of the month, but only finished this today. I’m very happy with it. I wanted to give it a light atmosphere, and the sense of flight. Err.. I draw a lot of butterflies…. and girls in kimono.

    So yeah. October is my favorite month (heh, I was born in october), I’m very happy to spend it making a lot of art and crafts! (and unfortunately, with a lot of calculus too. But yeah, that’s life…)

     

    Feliz Outubro!

    Esse mês estou muito feliz em dizer que fiz muita arte! Yay!

    Sim, eu participei do , e mesmo com o meu horário apertado, eu consegui postar todos os finais de semana de outubro, na minha conta no instagram. Ainda essa semana, eu vou fazer um post todo dedicado às minhas travessuras no Inktober.

    Então, meu artwork para o Creative Every Day Challenge desse mês. O tema é Flight (Vôo)! Eu rabisquei esse no comecinho do mês, mas só terminei hoje. Estou muito feliz com o resultado. Eu queria passar uma atmosfera leve e luminosa. Err… eu desenho muitas borboletas… e meninas de kimono.

    É isso. Outubro é o meu mês favorito (heh, eu nasci em outubro). Eu estou muito feliz em ter passado esse mês fazendo muita arte e crafts! (e, infelizmente, um monte de cálculo também. Mas é a vida…)
